    Makes making grilled sandwiches fun!
It’s easier, neater, with less cleanup. Sandwiches brown evenly and, of course, there’s no sandwich flipping to worry about, you just flip the pan.

Comparing the hot sandwich maker vs multi-functional devices
Here is what I love about this sandwich maker compared to plug-ins:1X – No counter space necessary2X – Less risk of breaking (no electrical components) / Less risk of landfill1X – Easy to clean (I could toss this in the dishwasher – but it’s real simple to wash)Here are the downfalls2X – You must cook with it – unlike plug, insert sandwich, go until you hear a beep..also with a plugin your results are timed and should be the same results where as with this device you may want a timer to find your sweet spot.1X – One sandwich at a time – that is a small downer if you’re cooking for two1X – Some sandwich machines are multi-functional where as this device is for sandwiches and MAYBE wafflesWhile I like the appeal of this items the pros nor cons outweigh each other when using my logic for consideration. If you can weigh the counter-space or simplicity better that I graded this, then please do so. That said – if I had to do it all over again and choose between this device or a multi-functional one, then I would re-buy. The price I paid was $19.50

    Perfect!
I love a griiled cheese with bacon and tomato, known in diner lingo as a “full house”. This little griller does a great job in no time flat. I rub a little olive oil or butter on both halves of the unit while I fry the bacon in another pan til half done. Then I stack everything on one slice of bread and cover all with another, lock the griller and heat for 2 minutes before I flip it. You can play around with timing depending on your stove and taste. It slides out a perfect full house. Will look forward to using for a burger and mini-omelets.

    Holy Cow It’s Small
I could have bought an electric panini maker for this price but they always break, usually the top element stops working.I got this and was shocked to see how small it is. There is a reason that the dimensions on the product are given in metrics. It’s to fool us dumb Americans. This will only fit a standard size piece of bread x 2 and ingredients. The interior dimensions are 5.75″ wide by 4.75″ deep (before the sides curl up). The vertical inside dimension is about .75″I like the fact that it has a latch to keep it closed. The handle can make it unbalanced and tip the bottom of the unit up off the grill so watch out for that. It is non-stick and is easy to clean. It’s from a Japanese company with substandard package labeling but the actual unit is made in China. Label says “Hot Sand Maker”.So I’m keeping it but really this should sell for under $15. Might be a fun accessory for a camping trip.****Update****I sent this back even though it cost me money to do so and even though I’m a Prime member. It’s just too small to cook any sandwich except a skinny grilled cheese.

    Easy Grilled Cheese
So quick and simple to make a grilled cheese with this. You do have to open to check on how well done you want a sandwich but very simple and sturdy pan. Cleans easy but tricky to put the 2 halves together if you do separate them for washing.

  7. Água e Vinho

It makes delicious sandwiches. Love it!
It toasts the slices of bread evenly. Easy to clean.

Very simple and easy to use
Very simple and easy to use. I like how it comes apart easily and can be washed easily too. Use medium low heat constantly while checking to see if the bread is nice and brown and it will turn out great! It takes maybe 5~10min to make one (depending on how heated the sandwich maker is at the time). My kids love eating hot sandwiches too!

  10. Deano

Light and good quality. Prefer this version over the new one.

  11. Mister M

it does not press the bun properly

  12. Rob

I have no major complaints. Good non-stick and is easy to clean by disassembling. It heats up very quickly, so a low heat is needed and constant attention to avoid burning. Also be cautious when it is fully open, if it’s tilted in the direction of the hinges it will slide apart.

  13. Comprador

Utensilio de calidad, útil y practico. Cómo te lo envian de Japón toma al rededor de un mes en llegar.
