The HAWOK Cast Iron Square Pie maker lets you cook delicious pies over the campfire. Provides enough cooking area for a single pie. It is double-sided and can be flipped freely so that both sides are heated evenly. The extra long handles allow you to grill your hamburgers in comfort away from your camp fire flame. Cast iron, built to last.
In my country of origin(Cuba) we used to have smaller ones for indoor use with gas stove and would make awesome cheese sandwiches with the swirl, I had been looking for one similar that was also made with cast iron, this one mind you is for outdoor campfires but the built quality is fantastic and you get 2 for a great price, I modified mine to have smaller handles to be able to use them indoors and they are amazing, if I can have any advice for the manufacturer, make a smaller version, put a a few out to market to test and if they sell well there you go, I would imagine they would do really good specially in the Miami area where the largest concentration of my people live, also, the one thing I would redesign for indoor use, would be where the 2 sides connect by the cast iron piece, make it almost like a griddle type that does not separate, we had these way back in the 1980s and I have not found any like em again, but these are damn near close and I love them, would buy again in a heart beat and my family loves them, 5 stars all around.

Good quality, just like the one I used as a kid.
Honestly there’s not much to say it’s pretty much exactly as pictured. I haven’t used them but plan to use them soon. The cast iron part appears to be already seasoned. There is an interlocking edge to help seal the edge of your pie/sandwich that you’re cooking. The hook to hold it shut is held in place on the handle with some crimping on either side of it so that it won’t slide up while you’re cooking. The handles even screw off to help with cleaning or if you need to re-season the cast iron. My only nit-pick is that on one of the irons the handles came partly unscrewed but all I had to do was just screw it back in.Tldr: seemingly high quality, would recommend. Will update if I have any issues when I use them soon.

Almost couldn’t wait for a nice day to have a fire.
I love the cast iron pie makers. I grew up with similar ones, these have longer handles and are made from cast iron. They’re much more durable than the stainless ones I grew up with. The best part is the handles unscrew so you can season the iron, without scorching the handles, previous to use.The only bad part is I wish they were hinged rather than hooked together. But 4 out of 5 stars isn’t bad.

Much better quality then what the big box stores sell.

    Love these for camping!
But not just for camping! We have school cook outs that we take them to and everyone loves taking a turn and making their own type of pie! They are so fun!

A little tricky to connect both sides at first but once you get it it’s fine.Doesn’t melt in campfire
