NOW THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE A SANDWICH MAKER!!!
First and foremost let me say this….. NEVER EVER USE SOAP ON YOUR NON-STICK COOKWARE AND DEFINITELY DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DISHWASHER!!! I see too many reviews where people say their food sticks to the Teflon coated surface. That’s because they keep washing it with soap and/or putting it in the dishwasher! DO NOT DO THAT TO TEFLON!!! Okay, now that we have that out of the way, let’s talk about this 3-in-1 sandwich maker. This thing is freaking awesome! This is the way all of these 3-in-1 sandwich makers should be built.We had a B&D 3-in-1 that lasted about 3 months before the bottom plate (made of plastic!) that covers the cord housing snapped off, and I’m glad it did because the cord was actually getting pinched coming out of the housing and was probably a disaster waiting to happen! We had to toss the whole thing in the garbage can.Anyway, to sum up, this machine is fantastic and works like a charm! We could not be happier with it and are confident that it will give us many years of faithful service and delicious food! And please don’t forget….. TREAT YOUR TEFLON THE WAY YOU WOULD TREAT CAST IRON – NO SOAP AND NO DISHWASHER!!!

So much to love about this unit, but overall just meh
There is a lot to love about this: convenience of 3 sets of plates which are easily tossed into the dishwasher and exchangable for different foods. But they don’t seat securely in place. The variable timer seems like a good idea, but there isn’t much room between underdone and burnt. The lighting system simply does not work at all for indicating your cooking time.

I could only make one small burger. Not for meats.
So it wasn’t cooking all the way through so burgers are a no go even on the highest setting. It went through a few heating and cooling phases then started to smell like burning plastic. I only tried to cook a single thick burger…. But I sliced it straight down the middle.This is good if you don’t want to share food. Lol. Single serving sizes only. Cant make a fair amount of meat but probably makes a few waffles. Lots of waffle recipesI’m sure it will make better waffles. But though it can cook one burger… And the burger has to be on the thin side. I would not recommend for grilling small amounts of meats. Veg is fine. The meat is generally too big if it’s a normal burger size. The limit it can do is one burger. Preferably fully thawed out. Then You gotta wait for machine to cool down all the way… And then you can make another. Cooling time is probably gunna be a while.Makes a killer cheese melt thooooo. I’m just a little sad it said it could make meat But it has to be finely cut or chopped and has to be smaller than a burger. A normal burger cut is no good. And the meat juice will overflow if you add more than a single burger size. Idk if you can tell…. I was excited for a quick burger and waffle maker. Lol.But it does cook well. Going to try hash browns and waffles. I’m sure those will cook way better than grilling meats.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$$ – Product is a piece of JUNK
I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to as this product is a piece of junk. I’d give negative ratings if it were possible. Heat control very bad. Tried many iterations of waffle mix liquidity and nothing comes out right with any setting. Sandwich plate is similar situation as it never crisps the bread. DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$$. I’m going back to using Cuisinart. I would return it if I could but threw the packaging away.
